All Manpower Companies Allowed To Renew License

The government has made arrangements to renew all the foreign employment companies (manpower companies). The cabinet meeting has issued an order to remove the impediment to the use of Article 82 of the Foreign Employment Act, 2064 BS and made a provision to renew the license of the manpower company. As a result, 731 manpower companies have avoided license dismissal . According to the department, there are currently 854 companies in operation.
The Department of Foreign Employment has already published a notice for renewal through regular process, according to which the company has to renew by Ashad end every year. There is also a provision to renew the license by Ashwin end by paying a fee of Rs 10,000 per month.
In order to renew the company, a total of 200 workers have to be sent abroad in the fiscal year 2076/77 and fiscal year 2077/78. But 731 companies were unable to do so due to the Covid-19 epidemic.
