Butwal Power purchases 8,85,960 unit shares of Manang Marsyandhi Hydropower

Butwal Power Company Limited has purchased the 8.86 lakh unit shares of Manang Marsyandhi Hydropower Company, as informed on Nepse. Butwal Power Company purchased the shares from Rajratna Holdings Co. Pvt. Limited and Marsyandhi Power Company P. Ltd.
Manang Marsyandhi Hydropower Company is planning to develop 282-megawatt Marsyandhi Hydropower Project located at Manang. Likewise, the company has received approval for the development of the project. The purchasing power agreement is in the process, as informed by the company. The company will develop the project with joint-investment with the Chinese partners. The Chinese partners include:
- SCIG International Limited
- Xingcheng International Investment Company Limited
- QYEC International Company Limited
- SCIG International Nepal Hydro Joint Development Pvt. Limited.
