Capacity Utilization Of industries In Province 1 At 52.6 Percent: NRB

The capacity utilization of industries in Province 1 is at 52.6 percent in the last fiscal year 2078/79.
According to a provincial study report of NRB, the capacity utilization of the industries has decreased by almost one percent in the fiscal year 2078/79 as compared to the previous fiscal year. In the fiscal year 2077/78, the capacity utilization of industries in Province 1 stood at 53.4 percent.
The capacity utilization of mustard oil producing industries is highest at 92 percent. On the other hand, the Vanaspati ghee producing industries have the lowest capacity utilization of 5.4 percent.
In the last fiscal year, the capacity utilization of industries producing garments, synthetic fabrics, iron rods and footwear had declined.
Until the Ashad end of 2079 BS, banks and financial institutions have floated Rs. 121 Arba as loans and advances to the industrial sector of the province 1. This is 16.50 percent lower as compared to the Ashad’s end 2078 BS.
