Chautari Laghubitta to conduct 4th AGM today; Merger & Dividend major agendas


Chautari Laghubitta will conduct it’s 4th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Poush 9, 2076. The board meeting held on Mangsir 14 has decided to convene the meeting at Diyalo Foodland, Butwal, Rupandehi.

The major agendas for the AGM are:

Discussion of financial statements of the fiscal year 2075/76.

Approval of a 7 percent bonus share worth Rs. 1.30 crores.

Approval of a 10.89 percent cash dividend worth Rs. 2.03 crores including for tax purposes.

The AGM will also provide the approval for the merger with Aarambha Laghubitta and swap ratio of 1:1

The company will be renamed ” Aarambha Chautari Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha” after the merger.

The meeting will also delegate authority to BOD for any future merger/acquisition decisions.

At current, the capital of the microfinance is Rs. 18.60 crores.

Book Closure date:

For the purpose of AGM, Chautari Laghubitta has set the book closure date from Mangsir 22 to Poush 9, 2076. Hence, the investors purchasing shares of the company before the book closure date are eligible to participate in the AGM and receive the dividend.
