Chepe Khola Small Hydropower Project (8.63 MW) Connected To National Grid

Chepe Khola Small Hydropower Project, constructed in Dudhpokhari Rural Municipality of Lamjung district, has been connected to the national transmission system on Bhadra 28, 2079 BS. With this, 8.63 megawatt electricity has been added to the national grid.
After completing all the tests, the electricity of the project was connected to the Kirtipur substation of the Nepal Electricity Authority. The project will produce 51.57 gigawatt hours of electricity annually.
Ashutosh Energy Company is the developer of the project. The construction of the structure at the project site was started from Karthik 2077 BS.
The estimated cost of the project is Rs. 1.5 Arba which amounts to per MW cost of Rs. 17.38 crores. NMB Bank has provided loan financing of Rs. 1.12 Arba from the project.
