Elon Musk , a visionary CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, has now become the second richest person of the world. With the rally in the stock price of Tesla, Musk’s networth has surged to $136 billion. Bill Gates trails behind in number three among the richest person with the networth of Rs 129 billion.

Tesla’s market capitalization has surpassed $500 billion. Musk alone has witnessed $100 billion surge in his networth this year due to the rally in Tesla stock. Musk’s net worth is not solely dependent on a large stake in Tesla. He also has investment in space exploration group SpaceX and infrastructure and construction firm The Boring Company.

Bill Gates would have a much higher net worth had he not donated huge amount to charity over the years. Gates has given more than $27 billion to his foundation since 2006.
