Emerging Nepal IPO Allotment
NIC Asia Capital Limited, the issue manager for the initial public offering (IPO) of Emerging Nepal Limited, has concluded the IPO allotment process on Thursday.
After the allotment, 51,670 applicants received 10 shares each. The remaining eight shares have been distributed to eight applicants through lucky draw. A total of 23,31,258 people had applied for the shares. Of them, 2,522 applications were disqualified with 23,28,706 eligible applicants. With the allotment, more than 22.76 lakh applicants were left empty-handed.

Emerging Nepal Limited floated 5,55,600 unit shares in the Initial Public Offering (IPO) from Magh 26, 2078 BS. Due to over-subscription of shares, the IPO issue was closed on Falgun 1, 2078 BS.
The IPO is 10 percent of the total issued capital. The face value of each share is Rs 100. Hence, the total public issue amount is Rs 5.55 crores.
Out of the total public issue, 11,112 shares are reserved for the employees of the company, and 27,780 shares are reserved for the mutual fund schemes. Hence, the general public participated in the remaining 5,16,708 shares.
One can apply for a minimum of 10 shares and a maximum of 5,000 shares.
The company has appointed NIC Asia Capital as the issue and the sales manager.
Emerging Nepal Limited was established in 2015 as an investment company. It is mainly promoted by Vishal Group and IME Group.
