Employees’ Provident Fund Earns Profit Of Rs 4.5 Billion

Employees’ Provident Fund has increased its profit by Rs 510 million or 12.83 percent to Rs. 4.45 billion in the fiscal year 2075/76. According to the annual report, the total income has increased by Rs 3.25 billion or 12.17 percent and reached Rs 29.96 billion. Similarly, the total financial resources of the fund increased by Rs 30.39 billion or 9.74 percent to reach Rs 342.40 billion.
The accumulated reserve fund has increased by Rs. 31.10 billion and reached Rs. 309.85 billion. The loan and investment amount increased by Rs. 26.50 billion to Rs. 335.25 billion and the total income increased by Rs. 3.25 billion to Rs. 29.96 billion.
The fund also has a savings of Rs 181 billion, term deposits of Rs 78.79 billion, project loans of Rs 52.19 billion, investments of Rs 22.44 billion and government securities of Rs 530 million.
