Global IME Bank Earns Rs 1.22 Arba until Q1, Profit Grows by 3 Percent

Global IME Bank Limited (GBIME) has reported profit growth of 3 percent in the first quarter of the fiscal year 2080/81. The bank posted a net profit of Rs. 1.22 Arba, up from Rs. 1.18 Arba in the corresponding period of the previous year.

Due to the increment in the net interest income by 50 percent, the profit also increased in the first quarter. Global IME Bank earned a net interest income of Rs. 4.80 Arba until the first quarter.

As of Ashwin’s end 2080 BS, the bank has a paid-up capital of Rs. 35.77 Arba with reserve and surplus of Rs. 24.42 Arba. Similarly, the bank has collected deposits of Rs.443 Arba from the customers and floated loans of Rs. 357.37 Arba.

With the rise in the profit, the EPS is at Rs. 13.71 and per-share net worth is Rs. 168.3. The non-performing loans has increased to 4.38 percent while the base rate has fallen to Rs 10.07 percent.
