Global IME Bank (GBIME) has reported profit growth of 41 percent in the first quarter of the fiscal year 2077/78. The bank posted a net profit of Rs. 105.88 crores, up from Rs. 75 crores in the corresponding period of the previous year. Likewise, the distributable profit is Rs. 22.61 crores.

Due to the increment in the net interest income by 66 percent, the profit also surged in the first quarter. Global IME Bank earned a net interest income of Rs. 2.59 Arba until the first quarter.
Currently, the bank has a paid-up capital of Rs. 18.98 Arba with reserve and surplus of Rs. 11.12 Arba. Similarly, the bank has collected deposits of Rs. 224.24 Arba to the customers and floated loans of Rs. 195.73 Arba.
With the rise in the profit, the EPS is at Rs. 22.32 and per-share net worth is Rs. 158.59. The non-performing loans has increased to 1.83 percent while the base rate has fallen to Rs 7.25 percent.
