Global IME Bank Inks Agreement With Gas Dealers Federation For QR Payment

Global IME Bank Limited and Gas Dealers Federation, Nepal have signed an agreement to cooperate for the promotion of mobile payments through QR when buying and selling gas to the dealers and consumers.

The agreement has been signed by Ratna Raj Bajracharya, Chief Executive Officer of Global IME Bank and Gyaneshwar Aryal, President of Gas Dealers Federation of Nepal.

Global IME Bank Limited has partnered with its Payment Partners Smart Choice Technologies and Fonepay to coordinate with the Gas Dealers Federation of Nepal to promote digital payments.

President Aryal said that he is confident that the cooperation with the bank will directly benefit more than 20,000 gas sellers across the country.

Global IME Bank Limited is providing services to more than 2.8 million customers from around 860 service centers across the country including 287 branches, 252 ATMs, 274 branchless banking services, 50 extensions and revenue collection counters and 3 foreign representative offices abroad.
