Hotel Siddhartha Grand Opens In Jhapa With Rs 50 Crores Investment

A well-equipped hotel with an investment of Rs 50 crores has come into operation in Birtamod, a major commercial city of Jhapa, for the convenience of internal and external tourists. 11 industrialists of Jhapa partnered to bring Hotel Siddhartha Grand into operation at Birtamod.
Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Yogesh Bhattarai inaugurated the hotel on Saturday. On the occasion, Minister Bhattarai said that hotels would play an important role in the development of the commercial city of Birtamod, adding that the government was emphasizing on the promotion of domestic tourism.
The hotel located on Bhadrapur Road of Birtamod is spread over an area of six Kattas. It has 51 well-equipped rooms, six separate restaurants and two conference halls. The hotel also has a swimming pool.
Hotel chairperson Devi Prasad Mainali said that the hotel would be open 24 hours a day for the convenience of internal and external tourists. Hotel Siddhartha is being operated under the management of Siddhartha Hospitality. Siddhartha Group is active in the management of various hotels from East Mechi to West Mahakali.
