House of Representatives Passes Appropriation Bill

The meeting of the House of Representatives has passed the Appropriation Bill, 2078 BS.
In the meeting, Finance Minister Janardan Sharma’s proposal to pass the Appropriation Bill, 2078 BS was passed by a majority.
The bill has been passed amid the obstruction of the main opposition party CPN (UML). As soon as Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota started the meeting, UML lawmakers surrounded the rostrum chanting slogans.
The Appropriation Bill passed by the House of Representatives will go to the National Assembly. The bill will come into force after it is passed by the National Assembly.
