IGI Prudential Insurance to Skip Dividend Distribution from FY 2079/80

IGI Prudential Insurance Company Limited (IGI) has completed the final audit of the company for the fiscal year 2079/80.

Approving the financial report of the FY 2079/80, the board meeting has decided not to distribute the dividend to the shareholders.

The report will be sent to Nepal Insurance Authority for the approval.

From the previous fiscal year 2078/79, the non-life insurance company (IME General Insurance, before merger with Prudential Insurance) had proposed a 6.84 percent dividend, including a 6.5 percent bonus share and a 0.34 percent cash dividend (for the tax purpose).

As of  Ashad’s end 2080 BS, IGI Prudential Insurance has a paid-up capital of Rs 302.93 crores.
