Jack Ma says Alibaba Group prevents 300 million hack attempts in a day

Jack Ma, the founder and former chairman of Alibaba Group,has stated that the company prevents almost 300 million cyber hacks per day. Jack Ma said that its e-commerce business reports about $50 billion worth of transaction through 1 billion users per day. However, despite the huge cyberattacks, the company has not lost any money to hackers.

Ma has attributed the success against the cyber-hacks to the company’s advanced tech capabilities, named ‘AI: Alibaba Intelligence’.

“Give my data to a machine, I trust a machine more than people”, said Ma.

Jack Ma had retired from Alibaba a month ago. He was honored with Malcolm S Forbes Lifetime Achievement Award at a conference in Singapore, for his entrepreneurship contribution.
