Jyoti Bikas Bank adds 3 branches in Ratopool, Sitapaila & Jhamsikhel

Jyoti Bikas Bank, a national level development bank of Nepal has inaugurated 3 branches in December 30 (Poush 14). The bank added branches in Ratopool (Kathmandu), Sitapaila (Nagarjun Municipality, Kathmandu) and Jhamsikhel (Lalitpur). In order to provide quality banking services to the customers, the bank has operated 3 new branches.
The branch in Jhamshikhel was inaugurated by Mr. Chiri babu Maharjan, Mayor of Lalitpur Metropolitan City. Likewise, Mr. Dhruba Kumar Upreti, promoter as well as previous chairman of the bank initiated the new branch in Sitapaila located at Ward No. 3 of Nagarjun Municipality. Similarly, the branch in Ratopool, Ward no. 3, Kathmandu was inaugurated by Mr. Jagadishwor Prasad Adhikari, director of the bank.
“The banking sector is highly sensitive. Under the guidance and polices of Nepal Rastra Bank, this sector is moving ahead with rapid progress. I believe Jyoti Bikas Bank will follow the guidelines and emerge as the top service provider in the banking sector with quality service.” said the Mayor Chiri Babu Maharjan.
The branch opening ceremony was attended by the directors, CEO, employees of the bank, customers as well as locals.
At current, Jyoti Bikas Bank is operating with 102 branches, 1 extension counter and 43 ATMs. The bank is planning to add 25 more ATMs within this fiscal year. With more than 2.40 lakh accounts, the bank has collected deposits above Rs. 31 billion. Likewise, Jyoti Bikas Bank has floated total loans above Rs. 26 billion to 20,000 borrowers.
