Kumari Bank Posts Rs 1.80 Arba Profit Until Q3

Kumari Bank (KBL) has disclosed a net profit of Rs 1.80 Arba until the third quarter of the current fiscal year 2077/78. As per the unaudited quarterly report, the profit has surged by 76 percent as compared to the corresponding period of the previous year. In the fiscal year 2076/77, the bank had posted a net profit of Rs 1.02 Arba in the nine months period.

The rise in profit is due to the increase in the net interest income of the bank by almost 39 percent. The bank has earned Rs 3.82 Arba as net interest income until the third quarter. Such income stood at Rs 2.75 Arba in the same period of the last fiscal year.

As of Chaitra end 2077 BS, Kumari Bank has a paid-up capital of Rs 13.87 Arba with Rs 4.92 as total reserve and surplus. During this period, the bank has collected Rs 127.69 Arba as deposits from the customers. Likewise, it has floated Rs 1.29.04 Arba as loans and advances to customers.
