Liberty Energy Company To Issue 2:1 Right Share | Submits Application To SEBON

Liberty Energy Company Limited (LEC) is planning to sell right shares to the shareholders. The company has submitted the application to the Securities Board Of Nepal (SEBON) on Bhadra 21, 2080 BS seeking permission to float the shares. Only after the approval from the regulatory body SEBON, the company can sell shares to the public.

Electricity Regulatory Commission has already granted the approval to the company for the right offering.

The company has decided to issue right shares in the ratio 2:1. This means that shareholders’ with 100 shares can apply for the additional 50 right shares.

The right offering will be on the current capital of Rs. 1.50 Arba. Hence, the company plans to issue 75 lakh unit right shares that amounts to Rs. 75 crores.

For the purpose of right offering, the company has appointed Prabhu Capital as the issue and sales manager.

After the right issue, the paid-up capital will reach Rs. 2.25 Arba.

Liberty Energy Company is currently operating a 25 MW Upper Dordi ‘A’ Hydropower Project in Lamjung. Similarly, the company is planning to develop a 24.6 MW Badigad Hydroelectric Project in Baglung and Gulmi district.
