Mahuli Laghubitta Revises Dividend | To Provide 15 Percent Dividend

Mahuli Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (MSLB) has amended the dividend to the shareholders. The dividend is from the fiscal year 2078/79.

The microfinance company has proposed a 15 percent dividend. The total dividend includes a 14.75 percent bonus share and a 0.25 percent cash dividend. The bonus share is worth Rs 4.02 crores while the cash dividend amounts to Rs. 21.16 lakhs.

As of Ashad’s end 2079 BS, Mahuli Laghubitta has a paid-up capital of Rs 28.21 crores. After the adjustment of the proposed 14.75 percent bonus share, the capital will increase to Rs 32.37 crores.

Earlier, the company had proposed 25 percent dividend including a 20 percent bonus share and a 5 percent cash dividend. However, as per the direction of Nepal Rastra Bank, the company has revised the dividend.

The dividend is subject to approval from the upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM).

From the previous fiscal year 2077/78, the company had distributed a 26 percent bonus shares to the shareholders. Likewise, in the fiscal year 2076/77, Mahuli Laghubitta had provided a 21.05 percent dividend, including a 20 percent bonus share and a 1.05 percent cash dividend.
