Mandakini Hydropower to Distribute 5 Percent Dividend

Mandakini Hydropower Limited (MHL) has announced the dividend to the shareholders. The dividend declaration is from the fiscal year 2079/80.

The board meeting of the company held on Mangsir 29, 2080 BS has proposed a 5 percent dividend (including for taxes). The total dividend includes 4.75 percent bonus share and a 0.25 percent cash dividend (for tax purposes). The company is planning to distribute Rs 2.94 crores worth of dividends.

As of Ashad’s end 2080 B.S., MHL has a paid-up capital of Rs. 58.80 crores.

The company will distribute the dividend after the approval from its upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM).

From the previous fiscal year, MHL had distributed a 5 percent cash dividend to the shareholders.

The company is currently operating a Sardi Khola Hydropower project at Kaski District. The project is a Run-of-River type Hydropower project with an installed capacity of 4 MW.
