3 Microfinance waiting approval from Sebon to issue the IPO

The Initial Public Offering (IPO) of microfinance companies receive a huge response from the investors of Nepal. Since shares of microfinance companies tend to trade at higher prices in the secondary market, investors are attracted to invest in their IPOs. However, due to huge oversubscription of shares, very few investors get hands on the IPO shares of microfinance companies.

Three microfinance companies are in the process of issuing the shares to the public. They are waiting for approval from Sebon in order to float the IPO. Altogether 10.62 lakhs units IPO shares of 3 microfinance companies is set for the public offerings.

The three microfinance include Adhikhola Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Ltd, Ghodighoda Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Ltd, and Sabaiko Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Ltd. Adhikhola Laghubitta applied to the Sebon on Baisakh 3, 2076. Likewise, Ghodighoda and Sabaiko Laghubitta submitted the application on Chaitra 17, 2075 and Chaitra 24, 2075 respectively.

Adhikhola Laghubitta is planning to issue 4 lakh units shares worth Rs. 4 crores. NIBL Ace Capital Limited is appointed as the issue manager for the IPO.

Likewise, Ghodighoda Laghubitta will float 1,32,600 shares to the general public. The IPO shares are worth Rs. 1.33 crores. Prabhu Capital Limited is the issue manager for the IPO of Ghodighoda Laghubitta.

Also, Sabaiko Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited is going to float 5.30 lakh units IPO shares if it received approval from the Securities Board of Nepal. The total IPO issue is worth Rs. 5.30 crores. For the IPO issue of Sabaiko Laghubitta, NIBL Ace Capital is appointed as the issue manager.

Here is the list of three microfinance companies which will issue the IPO shares to the general public after the approval from Sebon.
