Miteri Development Bank Declares 10 Percent Dividend

Miteri Development Bank (MDB) has declared the dividend to the shareholders. The dividend announcement is from the fiscal year 2079/80.

The development bank has proposed a 10 percent dividend. The total dividend includes a 9.5 percent bonus share and 0.5 percent cash dividend (for tax purposes). The bonus share amounts to Rs 9.64 crores. Likewise, the cash dividend is worth Rs 50.75 lakhs.

As of Ashad’s end 2080 BS, Miteri Development Bank has a paid-up capital of Rs 101.50 crores. After the adjustment of the proposed bonus share, the capital will rise to Rs 111.14 crores.

The dividend is subject to approval from Nepal Rastra Bank and the upcoming AGM of the company.

From the previous fiscal year 2078/79, Miteri Development Bank had distributed a 13 percent dividend, including a 12.35 percent bonus share and a 0.65 percent cash dividend.
