NEA Connects National Transmission Line In Bajura

Nepal Electricity Authority has connected the national transmission line to the community in Bajura for the first time. Mahesh Chandra Bhatta, chief of the Bajura Distribution Center of the Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) said that 51 houses in Budhiganga Municipality Ward No. 3 have been connected to the national transmission line at the community level.

The line has been extended in Budhiganga Ward No. 3 by connecting 50 KVA transmitter in Sera of Budhiganga. The locals are very happy to get electricity for the first time. According to the Nepal Electricity Authority, Bajura Distribution Center, the lights will be switched on in wards 1, 2 and 3 of Budhiganga Municipality soon.There is a plan to connect the lights of the national transmission line in 1000 houses in Budhiganga Municipality.

The light has been inaugurated by Lal Bahadur Thapa, Member of the House of Representatives, after the national transmission line was connected to the community. MP Thapa has said that he will take initiative to connect national transmission lines in all the nine local levels of Bajura as soon as possible. NEA had already supplied electricity near the district headquarters Martadi last year.
