Nepal Bangladesh Bank Posts Net Profit Of Rs 2.29 Arba [Q4 Report]

Nepal Bangladesh Bank (NBB) has posted a net profit of Rs 2.29 Arba in the fiscal year 2077/78. Publishing the unaudited fourth quarterly report, the net profit has surged by 84 percent as compared to the previous fiscal year. In the fiscal year 2076/77, Nepal Bangladesh Bank had earned Rs 1.24 Arba in net profit. The profit has increased despite the fall in the net interest income. The rise in profit is mainly due to the reversal of the impairment charge worth Rs 27.15 crores as well as an increase in net trading and other operating income.
