Nepal Life Insurance Collects Rs 25.37 Arba In Premium (Q3 Report)

Nepal Life Insurance Company Limited (NLIC) has posted a profit of Rs. 50.66 crores until the third quarter of this fiscal year 2077/78. As per the unaudited report, the profit has increased by 8 percent as compared to the corresponding period of the previous year. Last year, the NLIC earned Rs. 46.75 crores until the third quarter.

Nepal Life Insurance has collected a net premium of Rs. 24.95 Arba during the nine months period. This is 35 percent higher than the same period of the previous year. However, the net claim has surged by 40 percent to Rs. 7.29 Arba.

As of Chaitra end 2077 BS, NLIC has a paid-up capital of Rs. 7.19 Arba with Rs. 1.12 Arba in reserve and surplus. The company has Rs. 107.61 Arba in life assurance fund.

The annualized per share earnings (EPS) and per share net-worth stand at Rs. 9.38 and Rs. 123.92 respectively.
