Nepal SBI Bank Reports 49 Percent Drop In Net Profit (Q2 Report)

Nepal SBI Bank Limited has reported a massive decline in profit until the second quarter of the current fiscal year 2077/78. The bank has earned Rs. 51 crores in net profit, which is almost 49 percent lower than Rs. 1 Arba of the same period last year.
The fall in the net interest income has led to a decline in profit. The bank earned a net interest income of Rs. 1.18 Arba in the six months period which is 43 percent lower than the corresponding period of the previous year.
Until the Poush end, 2077 BS, Nepal SBI Bank has a paid-up capital of Rs 8.95 Arba. It has collected Rs. 103.24 Arba in deposits from the customers. Likewise, the bank has floated Rs. 88.52 Arba as loans to the customers.
The annualized EPS stands at Rs. 11.50. Likewise, the per-share net worth is Rs. 171.67. The base rate has fallen to 7.49 percent while NPL has increased to 0.19 percent.
