Nepali Workers Going to South Korea to Get Exchange Facility up to $1,500

Nepali workers going to South Korea will get exchange facility up to USD 1,500. NRB has instructed to provide up to USD 1,500 exchange facility through electronic card to the workers going to Korea. For this, the worker will have to submit a letter of recommendation from the Department of Foreign Employment disclosing the details of quarantine expenses.

At present, there is a provision to provide exchange facility up to USD 200 per person for the workers going for employment. Similarly, there is a provision to provide exchange facility to Nepali citizens traveling to countries other than India up to USD 1,500 or its equivalent in foreign currency for each passport. Children who go with their parents without a separate passport can get a maximum of USD 500.
