Nepse update: Price movement of 27 banks today

Nepse index gained 21.73 points and closed on 1299.41 points today. 8 out of the top ten turnover stocks list was occupied by the banking stocks today. Banking sub-index gained 2.58 percent today. As a result, all 27 commercial banks share price rose today.
The table below shows the list of 27 commercial banks, their last trading price, initial price, price change, percentage change and total traded quantity. The table has been sorted in descending order in terms of the percentage change in the stock price today.
Mega Bank was the top gainer as share price increased by 6.04 percent today while Bank of Kathmandu share price also rose by 5.45 percent. Similarly, Janata Bank share was the most active of the banking stocks as 1,93,142 units shares of the company were traded today. The turnover stood at Rs. 3.87 crores.
