Financial Comparision: Prabhu Bank Vs Siddhartha Bank

Prabhu Bank and Siddhartha Bank have published the unaudited second-quarter report of the fiscal year 2076/77. As per the report, both the banks have earned above Rs. 1 Arba net profit in the six months period. Here, we will try to compare the performance of these two banks.

Prabhu Bank has a more capital of Rs. 10.32 Arba while Siddhartha Bank capital stands at Rs. 9.79 Arba. However, Siddhartha Bank leads in reserve and surplus with Rs. 4.96 Arba. Prabhu Bank has a total reserve & surplus of Rs. 4.91 Arba.

Similarly, Siddhartha Bank has a higher deposit collection and loan disbursement than Prabhu Bank. The total deposits (from customers) and loans (to customers) of Siddhartha Bank stood at Rs. 126.55 Arba and Rs. 118.36 Arba respectively. On the other hand, Prabhu Bank has deposits of Rs. 115.50 Arba and floated loans of Rs. 94.72 Arba until the Poush end. Siddhartha Bank has earned a higher net interest income of Rs. 2.77 Arba against Prabhu Bank’s Rs. 2.46 Arba. However, Prabhu Bank overtakes Siddhartha Bank in net profit earned with Rs. 109 crore. Likewise, Prabhu bank has accumulated more distributable profit of Rs. 103 crores in the first six months.

Siddhartha Bank vastly outperforms in Non-performing Loans (NPL) with 1.55 percent. Prabhu Bank has an NPL of 3.12 percent. In terms of a base rate, Prabhu Bank leads with a lower base rate of 9.45 percent against Siddhartha Bank’s 10.04 percent.

Similarly, Prabhu Bank has a higher EPS of Rs. 22.12 while Siddhartha Bank EPS is Rs. 21.57. Likewise, Siddhartha Bank excels in per-share net-worth with Rs. 150.72.
