Sagarmatha Insurance proposes 86 percent bonus share

The 271st board of meeting of Sagarmatha Insurance Company was held on Baisakh 26, 2076 and the meeting has proposed 86 percent bonus share worth Rs. 46.29 crore from the profit of 2074/75. Sagarmatha Insurance informed Nepse about the proposed bonus share today.

The bonus share is subject to approval from Beema Samiti and the AGM of the company. The paid-up capital of the company stands at Rs. 53.82 crores and after the bonus adjustment, it will reach 1 arba. As a result, it will be able to reach the minimum capital requirement of 1 arba.

Shareholders must pay the dividend tax in order to receive the bonus in their account.
