Chunky Chhetri Reappointed As CEO Of Sagarmatha Insurance

The board of directors of Sagarmatha Insurance Company Limited (SIC) has reappointed Mr. Chunky Chhetri as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

Mr. Chhetri will continue as the CEO from Ashad 18, 2077 and remain for the term of 4 years.

Sagarmatha Insurance is a leading non-life insurance company of Nepal, established as a joint venture with Ceylinco Insurance PLC, Srilanka.

The Company has an authorized capital of NRs. 2 Billion and Paid-Up capital Rs.1.001 Billion. The promoters hold the 51 percent shares in the company. Likewise, Ceylinco Insurance Company, PLC has 20 percent ownership and the balance 29 percent is possessed by public shareholders.

At current, Sagarmatha Insurance Company provides various insurance services through its 85 branch networks all over Nepal.
