Samrat Cement Industry Producing 4500 Tonnes Clinker Daily

Samrat Cement Industry, which has invested billions during the corona crisis, has started clinker production from Monday. The industry, which has been producing cement since 2070 with an investment of Rs 7 billion, has started production of 4,500 metric tonnes of clinker daily with additional investment. Investment Board of Nepal approved an additional investment of Rs 8.05 Arba by Samrat Cement Industry on Ashad 5, 2077.

Until now, the industry has been producing only cement. Chairman of the industry Mukunda Prasad Timilsina said that they are planning to produce 3600 metric tonnes of clinker as well as cement per day. At present, the cement production capacity of the industry is 1,800 metric tons per day.

The main market of the industry, which is preparing to operate the plant at full capacity, will be in the west and far west region as well as Pokhara, Narayangarh and Dhaulagiri areas. The company says that 500 people will get direct employment after the operation of the industry and more than 1,000 people will get indirect employment.
