Samsung reveals new foldable smartphone “Galaxy Fold’

Samsung has revealed its new foldable smartphone on Wednesday. The smartphone was announced by the South Korean tech giants and named it as the Galaxy Fold. The smartphone was launched in an event in San Francisco.

Mark Newman, the managing director told that the newly launched smartphone is a game-changer in the sense that the phone can be converted into a tablet and can address the changing use of mobile devices.

But the high price can turn it into a ‘ status symbol”, says Patrick Moorhead, president, and principal analyst at Moor Insights and Strategy. The price is set at $1,980 and will be a niche product due to its high price.

Samsung has been hit by the fall in the sales of their smartphones after companies like Huawei, Vivo, Oppo, and Xiaomi have provided stiff competition in the smartphone market.
