Sundar Prasad Kandel Appointed as CEO of Siddhartha Bank

Sundar Prasad Kandel has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of Siddhartha Bank Limited. A meeting of the bank’s board of directors has appointed Kandel as chief executive officer for the next four years. Previously, Kandel was working as the deputy chief executive officer in the bank.
Shambhunath Gautam, the chief executive, decided to retire from the service in Siddhartha Bank after completing his four-year tenure. After the retirement of Gautam, Kandel was leading the bank as the acting chief executive officer.
Sundar Prasad Kandel has more than three decades of work experience in the banking sector. He has a master’s degree in management. He has been holding various senior management positions at Siddhartha Bank for the past 16 years and has been the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the bank for the past four years.
Kandel had about 17 years of work experience in Nabil Bank before starting his service in Siddhartha Bank.
