Sunrise Debenture 2080 opens from today

Sunrise Bank is going to issue “10% Sunrise Debenture 2080” to the general public from today (Chaitra 20, 2075.)

The bank will issue 10 lakh debentures worth Rs. 1 Arba. Out of the total, Rs. 60 crores worth of debenture will be issued through a private placement. The remaining Rs. 40 crores worth of debenture is the public issue amount. 5 percent of the public issue i.e 20,000 units are reserved for the mutual funds.

The par value of debenture will be Rs. 1,000 per unit. The interest rate on debenture is 10 percent per annum while the maturity period is of 5 years.

The debenture issue will remain open until Chaitra 25, 2075. If the issue remains unsubscribed fully till that period, it will be extended to Baisakh 19,2076. Investors can apply for the minimum of 25 units of debenture while the maximum purchase limit is of 4 lakh units.

The company got approval to issue the debenture from SEBON on Chaitra 1, 2075,

Care Ratings Nepal has given A- rating to the debenture. This indicates that the company is capable of paying its debt on time and the investment on debenture is low risk.
