Chinese stock market drops over coronavirus fear

The fear of coronavirus has hit the stock market in China as the death toll continues to rise in the country. The Shanghai Composite has dropped by 2.75 percent while the Shenzhen component also fell by 3.52 percent.
On the other hand, the stock market in other Asian countries also dropped this Thursday. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng Index declined by 1.89 percent while Nikkei 225 in Japan also declined by 0.98 percent. The share market in South Korea and Australia also declined on Thursday.
A coronavirus is a kind of common virus that causes an infection in nose, sinuses or upper throat. More than 17 people have died and more than 540 cases have been confirmed till Wednesday in China due to coronavirus outbreak.
