US President Donald Trump meets with Google CEO

US President Donald Trump and Google CEO Sundar Pichai met each other this Wednesday. The president had a meeting with Google CEO to talk about political fairness on the Google platform and to know about how the company was dealing in China.
In recent times, Google has faced criticism from Republican lawmakers for being politically bias across its platforms.
Google CEO Pichai reported that the company is planning a censored search engine in China. China’s government has very strict laws for internet use so this would help the company to comply with the Chinese laws.
Further, a Google spokesperson, through a statement said that the company was pleased to have productive conversations with the President about investing in the future of the American workforce, the growth of emerging technologies and our ongoing commitment to working with the U.S. government.
Later, the President said through a tweet that the meeting ended in a positive note.
