Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank Proposes 10.47 Percent Dividend

Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank Limited (MBBL) has announced the dividend to the shareholders. The dividend declaration is from the fiscal year 2078/79.

The development bank has proposed a 10.47 percent dividend. The total dividend includes a 4 percent bonus share and a 6.47 percent cash dividend (including for tax purposes).

As of Ashad’s end 2079 BS, Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank has a paid-up capital of Rs 4.01 Arba. At this capital, the bonus share is worth Rs 16.04 crores while the cash dividend amounts to Rs 25.95 crores.

After the adjustment of the proposed bonus share, the capital of the bank will increase to Rs 4.17 Arba.

The bank will distribute the dividend after the approval from Nepal Rastra Bank and the upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM).

From the previous fiscal year 2077/78, Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank had distributed a 21.0526 percent dividend, including a 20 percent bonus share and a 1.0526 percent cash dividend.
