Stock markets in Asia rises after Chinese factory reports unexpected growth

Asian markets this Monday showed a positive response to the encouraging economic news that came from China. After the report emerged that there was an unexpected growth in the manufacturing activity in China this March, the stock markets in Asia rose throughout the trading session. Also, the possibility of a settlement of on-going US-China trade dispute has led the market in a positive direction.
The Shanghai Composite increased by 2.3 percent and the Shenzhen composite rose by 3 percent. Similarly, the stock market in Japan, Hongkong, Taiwan, Singapore, and South Korea also observed a rise in the market index.
Looking at individual stocks, Japan Display, the supplier of Apple Inc., shares price surged by 11.59 percent after the company announced that it would look for $1 billion in new financing. Similarly, shares of SoftBank and Toyota also rose by 1.68 and 2.28 percent respectively.
Last year, China reported an economic slowdown which resulted from the trade war with the US.
