8 National Level Development Banks’ Profit Rises by 49 Percent

As of Chaitra’s end 2082 BS., there are 8 national-level development banks operating in Nepal. All these banks have published the unaudited third quarterly report of the current fiscal year 2082/83. Based on these reports, we have presented the net profit of these development banks in the table below.
Garima Bikas Bank leads in terms of net profit with Rs 104.82 crores in the 9 months period. Muktinath Bikas Bank is second to Garima Bikas Bank in terms of net profit. It has posted a profit of Rs 94.26 crores. On the other hand, Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank has the lowest profit of Rs 45.99 crores in the 9 months period.
