Warren Buffet who is known as one of the world’s greatest investor of all time regrets for not identifying Google early and investing in it. His right-hand man, the vice chairman of the company, Charlie Munger, shares the same feeling with the CEO of Berkshire Hathway. Warren Buffet has always given importance to value investing all his life and made decisions accordingly.

Charlie Munger further said that not identifying Google early and the missed gains on Google hurt more than not investing in Amazon early. Since Google was using the advertising at Berkshire-owned insurance company GEICO, both of them had insight into Google but what they did was just see how well Google advertising was working and took no action.

Berkshire Hathaway AGM was conducted this Saturday and the 88-year-old CEO was asked about his successor. He just gave a hint by saying that Gregory Able and Ajit Jain who were promoted to the company’s board of directors last year, will join them on the stage to answer the queries of the shareholders in the coming years.
