Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank Earns Rs 73.29 Crores Net Profit (Q4 Report)

Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank Limited (MLBL) has reported a net profit of Rs 73.29 crores in the fiscal year 2077/78. As per the unaudited fourth quarterly report, the profit has surged by an impressive 71 percent as compared to the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year. The bank had earned Rs 42.85 crores in the fiscal year 2076/77.

The rise in profit is due to the increase in the net trading and other operating income of the bank. MLBL earned almost Rs 33 crores as the net trading income and other operating income. Such income stood at Rs 3.8 crores in the previous year.

Similarly, the bank has earned Rs 156.73 crores as net interest income, which is only 1.50 percent higher than the previous year.

As of Ashad’s end 2078 BS, Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank has collected Rs 38.60 Arba as deposits from customers. Likewise, it has floated Rs 29.43 Arba as loans and advances to customers.

The paid-up capital stood at Rs 3.34 Arba with Rs 2.16 Arba in reserve and surplus.

With the rise in profit, the annualized EPS stood at Rs 21.90 while the per share networth is Rs 164.75
