Rastriya Banijya Bank To Provide Loans To Ex-Armed Police

Rastriya Banijya Bank and Nepal Ex-Armed Police Association have signed an agreement on Monday to disburse pensioner loan. The agreement was signed by Kiran Kumar Shrestha, Chief Executive Officer of the Bank and Kishore Kumar Lama, Chairman of the Association.

According to the agreement, the association will recommend its members to the bank who need loans. The Bank will disburse pensioner loan to the recommended members by adding two percent additional premium to the base rate up to a maximum of Rs. 1 million under the Bank’s Consumer Loan Directive, 2077 BS.

CEO Shrestha said that even after retiring from the Armed Police Service, the loan will help small and medium enterprises to connect with the enterprise. Association president Lama said that the retired security personnel could do some work in Nepal without going for foreign employment. Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Rastriya Banijya Bank Kaviraj Adhikari and Senior Vice President of the Association Thakur Mohan Shrestha spoke on the occasion.

Deputy Executive Officers of the Bank Saraswati Adhikari, Devesh Prasad Lohani, Heads of Departments Vinayarman Poudel, Padyama GC, Deputy Chief Damodar Gyawali, Manager Bal Kumar Thapa and Secretary Kaviraj Shrestha were present on the occasion.
