Standard Chartered Bank third quarter performance

The unaudited third-quarter report of F.Y. 2075/76 of Standard Chartered Bank Nepal shows a rise in net profit by 11.61 percent from the corresponding quarter of the previous year. In the third quarter of this fiscal year, the bank made a net profit of Rs. 1.73 Arba.  Last year, the company’s profit stood at Rs. 1.55 Arba in the third quarter.

The company has paid up capital of Rs. 8.01 Arba with reserve & surplus of Rs. 6.18 Arba. The bank has a deposit collection of Rs. 70.81 Arba and floated the loans & advances of Rs. 53.46 Arba until the third quarter. The net interest income has grown to Rs. 2.56 Arba from Rs. 2.40 Arba. The free profit after regulatory adjustment stands at Rs. 1.11 Arba.

The non-performing loans are at 0.20 percent. Also, the Earnings Per Share (EPS) is Rs. 28.87. The base rate of SCB stands at 7.74 percent.
