Study Of 520 MW Hydropower Projects To Be Conducted In Karnali

A study of 520 MW hydropower project will be carried out in Karnali in the coming Fiscal Year 2077/78. The federal government has allocated budget for the feasibility study of hydropower projects in Jumla, Humla and Dolpa districts of Karnali in the coming fiscal year.

The federal government has allocated Rs 29 lakh five thousand budget for the feasibility study of the 10 MW Hima Hydropower Project in Ghodamaula, Kankasundari Gaonpalika-2.

Similarly, the federal government has allocated Rs 2 crores five lakh eight thousand for the study of Humla’s 10 MW Darm River People’s Power Project.

The federal government has allocated Rs. 5 crores fifty eight lakh eighty six thousand for the 500 MW hydropower project in Dolpa. The federal government has allocated budget to study 23 hydropower projects across the country, according to the ministry.
