NMB Bank Receives ‘Bank of the Year Award-2020’

NMB Bank has won the ‘Bank of the Year Award’ for the third time in four years. The Banker, published by the famous British magazine Financial Times London, has awarded NMB Bank as the best Nepali Bank of the year 2020.  Previously, NMB bank had won the award twice in a row in 2017 and 2018.

NMB Bank has been significantly increasing its credit investment in the primary sectors of renewable energy, agriculture, small and medium enterprises. It  has succeeded in establishing itself as a mainstream bank by supporting the economic development of the country. In order to strengthen itself, the bank has been providing quality banking services to more than 1.2 million customers by expanding its branches in different cities and rural areas of the country.

NMB Bank has so far merged about half a dozen institutions and established itself as a strong bank with paid-up capital. Four years ago, the bank signed a cooperation agreement with FMO Entrepreneurial Development Bank of the Netherlands.

Banker magazine has given awards to the best banks of about 140 countries this year.
