Bhugol Energy Development Company Limited (BEDC) has posted a net loss of Rs 6.47 crores until the third quarter of the current fiscal year 2079/80. As per the unaudited report, in FY 2078/79, the hydropower had net loss of Rs 0.84 crores during the same period.
As of Chaitra’s end 2079 BS, BEDC has a paid-up capital of Rs 40 crores. The company has generated Rs 2.34 crores as income from sale of electricity.
Looking into per share ratios, the EPS stood at -Rs 16.18 while the per-share networth is at Rs 58.1.
The company is currently operating a 3.75 MW Dwari Khola Small Hydropower Project located at Dailekh District in Karnali.
