Clearing House Provides Rs 30 million Assistance in Corona Fund

Nepal Clearing House has provided assistance of around Rs. 30 million to the government. The company has contributed a total of Rs 291.20 million by waiving fees and providing direct cash assistance.
The company has made a direct contribution of more than Rs 23.49 million from the transaction fee. The direct beneficiaries of this assistance are the government, the banking sector and the general public. Similarly, it had contributed Rs. 1 million to the central government’s fund and Rs. 1.7 million to each state government’s fund for corona treatment. Similarly, it has helped to raise Rs 4,019,448 for the corona virus control and treatment fund.
NCHL has been providing NCHL-ECC, NCHL-IPS, Connect IPS, NPI and Connect RTGS services with the aim of promoting digital payment of Covid-19. The company has been waiving transaction fees on all these payment services since the lockdown began.
