Chief Minister of Karnali Province Jeevan Bahadur Shahi has urged investors not to invest in the stock market by taking a loan from a bank.

Stating that the number of capital market investors in Karnali is very low, he expressed confidence that it would increase due to the pace of development, capital market awareness and access to banking facilities.
Chief Minister Shahi claimed that the budget brought by the state government for the coming fiscal year would maintain financial discipline.
In the awareness program, the executive director of the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON), the regulatory body of the capital market sector, Dr. Nawaraj Adhikari suggested that when entering the secondary market as compared to the primary market, one should understand the capital market and manage the required amount of time.
The one-day awareness program had the participation of people involved in the economic sector of Karnali as well as teachers and students.
