Arun Valley Hydropower Amends Dividend | To Provide 5.263 Percent Dividend

Arun Valley Hydropower Company Limited (AHPC) has revised the dividend to the shareholders. The dividend declaration is from the fiscal year 2081/82.
The hydropower company will provide 5.263 percent dividend. The total dividend includes a 5 percent bonus share and a 0.263 percent cash dividend (for tax purposes).
Earlier, the company had proposed an 8.421 percent dividend, including an 8 percent bonus share. However, as per the direction of Electricity Regulatory Commission, the company has amended the dividend.
As of Ashad’s end 2082 B.S., AHPC has a paid-up capital of Rs. 3.84 Arba.
From the previous fiscal year 2080/81, the company had distributed a 3.157 percent dividend, including a 3 percent bonus share.
The company will distribute the dividend after the approval from its upcoming 27th Annual General Meeting (AGM).
