Mountain Energy Nepal Limited (MEN) has posted a net profit of Rs 61.11 crores in the fiscal year 2078/79. As per the unaudited report, the profit has increased by almost 446 percent as compared to the previous fiscal year. In FY 2077/78, the hydropower had earned Rs 11.19 crores during the same period.
As of Ashad’s end 2079 BS, MEN has a paid-up capital of Rs 196.80 crores with Rs 101.13 crores in reserve and surplus. The company has generated Rs 123.44 crores as income from sale of electricity.
Looking into per share ratios, the EPS stood at Rs 31.05 while the per-share networth is at Rs 151.38.
